Zoom Integration Guide

The Zoom integration on Five to Nine enables you to easily generate a Zoom link on a Five to Nine event.

Pre-Approve the Five to Nine App

For users that have access to Zoom Admin Permissions, access the Admin Dashboard on your Zoom. The Admin Dashboard allows you view and manage apps installed on your account. Zoom owners can search for apps on the Marketplace and pre-approve them. Visit Zoom’s Documentation for more info.

 

Installation

Step 1: To install the Zoom application, visit your profile.

Step 2: Select ‘Add Zoom Integration’.

Step 3: Sign into your Zoom account.

 How to use the Zoom integration

  • Generate a Zoom link to add to your event by selecting ‘Add Zoom link’ in the virtual link field of your event. 
  • This will automatically populate the virtual event link field with the generated Zoom link.
  • If you are adding a Google or Outlook calendar invite to your event, the Zoom link will be included in the ‘Location’ field of the calendar event.

Uninstalling the Zoom integration

In order to deauthorize the Zoom app from Five To Nine:

Step 1: Visit to your Profile and select ‘Remove Zoom Integration’

Your Zoom integration is now deactivated and deauthorized on your account. When you are editing an event on Five to Nine, you will no longer have an option to generate a Zoom link for your event.

In order to uninstall the Zoom Integration from outside of Five To Nine:

  1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the App Marketplace
  2. Click Manage > Installed Apps and search for Five to Nine
  3. Click the Five to Nine app
  4. Click Uninstall

1: I’m having trouble enabling my Zoom integration.

2: I’m having issues generating a Zoom link on my event.

  • Go to your profile page and navigate to the Integrations tab. Select ‘Remove’ Zoom integration and trying to enable it again.
  • If the problem persists, contact our customer success team

3: I’m having issues generating a Zoom link on my event.

  • Make sure you have published your event on Five to Nine and selected ‘Send Calendar Invite’ to trigger the event invite to your guests.
  • If the problem persists, contact our customer success team.
