Customizing event surveys

Create and customize surveys to send before or after your event.

Creating a pre-event survey

Your pre-event survey will be displayed when guests RSVP to the event. If guests are RSVPing via Slack or Google/Outlook Calendar, they will be sent the pre-event questions via email when they RSVP. 

Step 1: When editing your event, go to the ‘Pre-Event Survey’ section. 

Step 2: Add a question to your survey. Guests can respond in open-response format.

🙌 Save your changes. Your guests will now need to respond to your questions when RSVPing to the event. 

Creating a post-event survey

If your survey is enabled, all guests that have been RSVP’d to the event will receive an email notification with a link to complete the survey.

Step 1: When editing your event, go to the ‘Post-Event Survey’ section. 

Step 2: Make sure you check the ‘Send post-event survey’ and select when the survey will be sent. 

Step 3: Customize your survey. The NPS question is there by default, but can be removed for your survey. See our guide on Understanding NPS

– NPS: asks guests to rate their satisfaction on an emoji scale.Step 1: When editing your event, go to the ‘Pre-Event Survey’ section. 

– Short Answer: guests can type their responses openly.

– Multiple choice: guests can select only one response option.

– Checkboxes: guests can select one or more response options.

Step 3: Preview your survey by selecting ‘View Survey’. This is what the survey will look like when guests open the link in their email. 

🙌 When you’re ready, save your changes and your survey will be sent automatically!
