Do you have extra time on your hands but don’t know what to do with it? Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. We’ve gather a few different charities to look into depending on the causes that you’re interested in.
- Animal Shelters

If you’re interested in helping those less fortunate than yourself, homeless shelters are the best way to go. Sure, you see homeless people all the time in the street, but you never know how much of that money is actually going to housing. - People with Special Needs
If your interest lies more in helping those with special needs, it takes a special kind of patience to work with them. The Center for Enriched Living gives you many opportunities to give people with special needs a full and enriched experience through being a program volunteer or an event volunteer, and even beyond.
