In Case You Missed It: Business Casual

Last Thursday night, Five to Nine tried on a new dress code at Business Casual: The Office Party that Doesn’t Suck. And if you know us, then you know that room was anything but stuffy.

It all went down in our very own office at Brad’s Deals. Not only is the company gracious enough to host us as a part of their Women in Tech accelerator program, but they even let us throw house parties too. The mood was set by our friends at Cachet Global, who welcomed all of our guests with a photo booth as they walked in and grabbed a drink or some delicious Southwestern, Chicken Philly, and Mac n’ Cheese egg roll bites by Twisted Egg Roll. Soon enough, everyone had their hands full and the party was well underway.

Of course, the music was well-covered and the speakers were sounding sweet. Up first was dro.ski, who got everybody up and on their feet and was followed up by tremendous sets by The Drama Kids, and DJ Cold, each bringing their own unique vibes to the room. Making sure that everyone was satisfied, Skyrockit closed out the night with a set ranging from in-your-face house music to throwbacks from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.

The night showed no signs of slowing down, in fact, things turned up as the night went on. Our guests found out first hand what makes our office so great with some games like ping pong, basketball, and bag toss.

 

And yeah, the hover boards made their way out too.
